there are a lot of impacts after tsunami wipe out the Phuket island in Thailand on the movie. before the tsunami we can see the unusual behave of birds and fishes,tide receded unnaturally. the phuket island has lack of education,awareness or knowledge of the people in terms of warning signs. the problem they need to face aftermath is moving to higher ground cause the "next wave" might come because of tsunami. some of them looking for own family instead of helping others.Besides, people start looting others' belonging in chaos. many people missing and Furthermore, people start burning bodies without identification-practical need which conflicted with the need for emotional closure and also caused spread of diseases. Mobile telecommunication networks stopped working and breakdown during time of emergency is also a serious impact, people hardly contact for external help.The transport facilities were inadequate too as local vehicles were used for evacuation and there was only a road leading in and out of the area.the government provide relief with limited resources in certain areas such as evacuation of victims to seek for medical treatment.
some of the us people want to go back their country but they has lost their passport or belonging items and the airport full of people were waiting for their turn to back home
